Frequently Asked Questions - Events & Camps

  • For camps- both morning half day or full day, please bring lunch, snacks, water bottle, and clothes for outside play. For afternoon half day camps, you don’t need to bring lunch. In the winter, you can pack snow clothes. In the summer, you can bring rain jacket and sunscreen.

    For kids yoga party- pizza is provided, so you only need to bring snacks if your child would prefer that. Please bring a water bottle.

    If your child is prone to accidents, please bring a change of clothes.

  • For camp, if you will be later than 30 minutes it is helpful to give us a heads up as we have outside time at various locations. Pick up time can also be flexible, but please give us a heads up.

    For Kids Yoga Party, drop off and pick up time are flexible.

  • No food is provided for camp. Please pack lots of snacks!

    Pizza is provided for kids yoga part. Typically cheese and/or pepperoni from Secret Stash. If there are allergies, please let us know with advanced notice.

  • Yes, every camp ends in Kids Yoga/Mindfulness Class from 4-5pm. Please sign up ahead of time!

  • We prefer that you sign up with 24 hour notice to give us time to prepare materials and staff, however if there is room day of you are welcome to request to join!

  • Typical age range is 2-9, however we welcome children of all ages as we believe all children can learn from each other. If your child is not potty trained, please give us a heads up before hand.

    Half day camp and Kids Yoga Party pricing is $75 for first child and additional children are $50.

    Full day camp is $125 and additional children are $75.

  • Yes, each day from 4-5pm we will host a Kids Yoga + Mindfulness class.

  • If your child is sick, please do not bring them to the studio. If they are sick, we will call you to come pick them up.

  • We offer quiet time from 12:30-2:30 during camp days. We dim the lights and play calm music. Some kids do nap during this time. We have pillows and blankets. Other kids can build forts, read, color, or take time to calm their bodies.

  • 9-10:30: Children arrive and have free play. This is an opportunity to apply mindfulness tools in the natural environment by practicing healthy communication to help children get their needs and desires met. Teachers help facilitate this. During the summer this takes place at Pirate Park and during the winter this takes place at Town Hall and we have mindfulness toys and activities set up.

    10:30: snack time

    11-11:45: craft, activity, game

    11:45-12:30: lunch and outside time

    12:30-2:30: quiet time

    2:30-3:30: outside time with mindfulness activities

    4-5: kids yoga and mindfulness class

  • 4-5: flexible drop off time. Mindfulness toys and activities are set up like balance birds, stacking stones, balance pods, books on emotions, breathing balls, etc. Teachers offer opportunities during play for children to practice mindfulness in the natural environment including supporting healthy communication in order for children to get their needs and desires met.

    5-6: pizza, play, and dance party

    6-7: mindfulness game, activity, or craft

    6-7: fort building, dimmed lights, glowga party, relaxation and comfy cozy time

  • Kids Yoga Party drop off and pick up is at Thrive Yoga Crested Butte.

    For camp, you will get a message the day before with specific location information

    In the winter, morning drop off is at Town Hall and in the summer it is at Pirate Park.

  • Yes, it is our goal to make kids mindfulness programming accessible to all children. Please contact us for more information.
